DDFL Catfest on Sat. June 30

Don't miss the Denver Dumb Friends' Catfest on Saturday June 30! The event will feature all kinds of fun and FREE activities, plus dozens of adoptable cats and kittens. Keep in mind that there will be an extremely affordable $10 adoption special on all cats over 7 months of age. 10AM to 3PM. At the Denver shelter, 2080 S. Quebec St. Parking is available at the shelter, and in the Big Lots shopping center parking lot on the northeast corner of Quebec & Iliff.

• Animal Planet’s über-cool celebrity cat behaviorist, Jackson Galaxy, will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. to answer your cat queries

• Activities for kids, including games, crafts, face painting, spray-on tattoos, balloon animals and a bouncy house

• Purebred cat exhibition, with breeds like European Burmese, Ocicat, Egyptian Mau and Persian 

• Behavior and veterinary advice from cat experts

• Cat clicker-training and play-therapy demonstrations

• Goodie bags for the first 500 cat lovers who complete their CatFest punch cards by visiting all event booths

• Goodie bags for the first 100 cat adopters

• Live broadcast by Radio Disney from 10AM. to noon.
• Vendors galore at the Meow Market, selling food and kitty related merchandise.
