Neighborhood home tours are pretty pricey, but here's one in Capitol Hill that is more affordable and supports a good cause. The
Dora Moore School House Tour, on Sunday, Oct. 10, runs from 11AM-5PM and is only $10 if you buy tickets in advance online or at King Soopers on 9th and Corona. Otherwise it is $15 and you can buy them at the school The self-guided walking tour features six houses and the historic school at 846 Corona St., with volunteers guiding guests at each stop. Proceeds fund student and teacher enrichment programs. Visit
moore.dpsk12.org for details. We love this beautiful school and want to see it supported. Among its famous alumni are former Denver Mayors Quigg Newton
(1947 to 1955) and Bill McNichols (1971-1983), Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., Comedian Tim Allen and Mamie Doud Eisenhower.
