According to the the Colorado Division of Wildlife, skunks are on the rise in Denver (see this recent Denver Post story). Skunks do carry rabies, as do bats and prairie dogs. Jason St. Rabies shots are offered Wednesdays, 2:30-4:45PM (dogs) and Thursdays, 3:30-4:30PM (cats). The shelter also offers pet vaccination, license, and microchip clinics. Cost is $35.
