New Pedestrian Bridge Slated for Colorado and Evans

For years we've known that crossing the intersection at Evans and Colorado Boulevard is a harrowing and treacherous endeavor. But now that pedestrians and bike riders trying to access the Colorado Center Light Rail Station are having close calls, the city has taken notice. Indeed, Denver Public Works is holding a public information meeting on Thursday Sept. 15 from 5:30-7:30PM, to present final design/construction plans for a bike/pedestrian bridge across the intersection. The meeting will be at Dave & Buster’s Colorado Center (2000 S. Colorado Blvd.).
