Hunger Free Hotline FREE

If you are really having trouble putting food on the table, or if you  know someone in a bad spot, consider the Hunger Free Hotline, a toll-free number through which people can get information on food assistance in Colorado. Brought to you by Hunger Free Colorado and Kaiser Permanent, the hotline provides live, bilingual and geographically-based referrals to public and private assistance programs – food stamps, food banks, soup kitchens, Meals on Wheels and more. They will ask you a couple of questions about your situation, to see what programs you qualify for.

In Denver, call 720-382-2920, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-4PM. Website here.
