Denver Dumb Friends -- $50 Adoptions

Please don't forget that animal shelters are at the breaking point, thanks to the ongoing recession and increase in home foreclosures and joblessness. With nearly 900 animals in the care of the Dumb Friends League, the agency is launching a 15-week campaign to encourage more adoptions. Now through June 30, adoption fees will be reduced to $50 for all cats and dogs (adult, puppies and kittens). Each pet’s adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, microchip ID implant and registration, and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian. Interested adopters can view all pets in need of homes at DDFL online or visit either of the Dumb Friends League’s two locations: 2080 S. Quebec St., Denver and 4556 Castleton Ct., Castle Rock. 303-751-5772. You can also peruse potential adoptees through our DDF link on the right hand side of this page.
