Benefit Concert for Local Family at the Toad Tavern May 1

The Arapahoe Pop/Rock Ensemble of Arapahoe Community College (or, the APE) will play a benefit concert for Katrina Vargas and Family from 5 to 8PM. May 1 at Littleton’s Toad Tavern, 5302 S. Federal Circle. Vargas, 16, was hit by a stray bullet during a drive-by gang shooting outside her high school and is paralyzed from the waist down. The APE class was started by local musician Chris Daniels and continues with Michael Engberg. This is the end of semester performance and donations of $10 or more will help the family with medical expenses. If you can attend you will enjoy the music.
