FREE Chamber Music Concert Dec. 17

I love Denver Public Library's Decker branch and I always look for an excuse to visit. Keep in mind that adult amateur musicians are invited to perform at informal Colorado Chamber Music Society FREE concerts, held the third Saturday of the month (that will be Dec. 17, at 2PM).  No formal audition necessary. Boettcher Mansion FREE to Public Dec. 10-16

The Colorado Governor's residence at the Boettcher Mansion will be open for holiday visitors for an entire week from 10AM-2PM starting on Dec.10, 2011 and continuing daily through Dec. 16, 2011. FREE! The decorations this year will reflect the theme of “Holiday Heritages.” Entertainment will be provided at various times throughout the week in the Carriage House. 400 E. 8th Ave., Denver.

Denver Botanic Holiday Lights at Chatfield Groupon Deal

Groupon is offering a deal to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Trail of Lights at the discounted price of $10 for two admissions (usually would run you $19). Deadline to buy this deal is end of the day today, Tuesday Nov. 29.You get your choice of paths at Chatfield -- a short trail of twinkling lights takes visitors directly to the children’s play area with its antique tractors. and a tree house of retired elves, while an extended path allows visitors to explore the decorated Green Farm homestead and decorated barn and silo.
