This Friday, February 4 dentists will give low income kids a smile with the Give Kids A Smile Day.
So far, more than 30 dentists in Colorado have signed up to participate. The program is not for families who have dental insurance, it is for families who are low-income and unable to afford dental care. To get an appointment visit the Colorado Dental Association Web site. It explains how you can qualify and it has a list of the dentists who have appointments available. You pick a dentist and call the office directly for an appointment. Some offices are only offering cleanings, others are doing most extensive work. Make sure you when you call that you say you're "calling to make an appointment for the "Give Kids a Smile Day." Check the list: some of the offices speak Spanish.
