FREE DAY Botanic Gardens
The next free day at the Denver Botanic Gardens, now celebrating 51 years at the current location. Admission is FREE for Colorado residents on Oct. 28. Stroll through the various outdoor gardens resplendent in their foliage regardless of season. And the beautiful Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory always has something splendid on display all year long. A bonus this year is “Moore in Gardens,” 20 monumental sculptures by Henry Moore located amid the DBG’s varied landscapes in all seasons. Need something for a green-thumb? Check out the new gift shop chock-a-block full of gardening gizmos and gifts. The Botanic Gardens are at 1005 York Street, 720-865-3500.
