Fun Things to Do in Denver Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 2012

Head down to City Hall (the bar South of Colfax) for the satisfying Pancakes and Booze art show, which starts at 8PM Friday, Nov. 30. There will be hundreds of pieces by local artists for sale, along with live DJs, music from The Outfit and Abandin Pictures and all kinds of fun. $5 admission - 21 and over only. 1144 Broadway, Denver.

DU Neighbors! Don't miss South Pearl Street's family-friendly WinterFest on the 1500 block of South Pearl Street on Friday Nov. 30 and Saturday Dec. 1. Check out the  Draft Horse and Wagon rides, a holiday market with gift and food vendors, local merchant open house and appearances by Santa.  Live music plays all day and there will be adult beverages, as well as hot chocolate and cider for the kids. This is always a well-attended and fun event.

Fancy Tiger Crafts' annual Holiday Handmade alternative craft fair will feature more than 60 local crafters on the forefront of Denver’s new wave of craft in the beautiful historic Sherman Street Events Center on Friday Nov. 30 and Saturday Dec. 1. They'll have knitting, crochet, printmaking, ceramics, body care products, sewing, felting, sweet treats, leatherwork, soap and more! The annual Parade of Lights  through Downtown Denver this Friday Nov. 30 (8PM) and Saturday Dec. 1 (6PM).  FREE and too much fun. Bundle up, because even when the days are warm, Denver's nights are brisk! Arrive early so you can claim your corner to watch the impressive floats, festive marching bands, diverse dancing groups and local celebrities take over the streets of downtown. In case you’re not up for the cold or the crowds, this one is broadcast live on 9NEWS.

Colorado residents can enjoy a FREE day at the Denver Art Museum.on Saturday Dec. 1 from 10AM-5PM. 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway  Denver.  Also, "penny Saturday" at Denver Museum of Contemporary Art.  Admission just one cent! 15th and Delgany, roughly two blocks from Union Station.  Finally, another FREE day at the Clyfford Still Museum on Saturday Nov. 3, 10AM-5PM.250 Bannock St., Denver.
