Construction on the senior housing building alongside the University Light
Rail Station will begin in January and the developers have offered University
Neighbors all the trees at the site for FREE.
There are lindens, crab apples and
spruce trees. Each tree with an orange ribbon is available to replant in
neighbors' yards.
If you are interested please e-mail Pat Lovett,
president of University Neighbors ASAP. The trees need to be moved in
the next couple of weeks at the very latest (before the ground freezes any
more)
Pat is looking into working with a landscape company to move these
trees. There may be a shared cost to move them to your yard and replant
them.
Pat's e-mail address is
pat.lovett@msn.com.
