Reward Offered for Info on Wash Park Groper

Denver's KDVR-Fox 13 reports that police are offering a $2,000 reward for info on a groper who is attacking women around Denver, most recently near Washington Park.

Denver police said the most recent incident happened Tuesday at approximately 12:20AM. A woman reported she was walking toward Washington Park on Kentucky Avenue between Gilpin Street and Franklin Street when a male approached her from behind and fondled her. The victim told police that the suspect was standing at the mouth of an alley before he approached her from behind. That report is similar to the four previous groping reports from women in the Cheeseman Park and Highland neighborhoods in August. .

Police say  that the suspect is a Hispanic man, about 6 feet tall and heavy set. He’s bald, between 20 and 30 years old, and has been seen wearing a baggy white t-shirt, baggy shorts and a long belt.
In all four cases, the suspect has fled the scene in a black Nissan Altima or Maxima with tinted windows, a loud muffler, shiny rims and orange tape covering the license plate.
Anyone with information on these crimes is being urged to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. You can remain anonymous and earn up to a $2,000 reward.
