Denver Area Corn Mazes and More!

Looking for fun Fall things to do around Denver? Celebrate the season locally with this round-up of local and affordable pumpkin patches, corn mazes, harvest festivals, etc. Just the kind of stuff you need to psyche you up for fall. If you are looking for more agra-tainment ideas, check out the Colorado Department of Agriculture website listings.  We also recommend that you always check websites before attempting a visit. Most of these places are working farms and the attractions, like everything else in the outdoors, is subject to weather conditions. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight if you're tripping the corn fantastic after sundown. Some mazes have evening haunted houses for adults with ticket pricing different from the daytime corn maze, so again, check websites.

  • Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Corn Maze an eight-acre corn maze right down the road in Littleton, near Chatfield. Open through Oct. 30. Mini maze for little ones. Open Fridays 4-9PM, Saturdays 12-9PM.and Sundays 12-6PM. Tix are $10 for adults, $8 for adult members, along with seniors and students with ID.   • Crazed Corn Field Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Thornton through Oct. 30. A 20 acre corn field maze. pick-your-own pumpkins, corn kernel play box and playground. And season permitting, Indian corn, pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, big mac pumpkins and gourds. Adults and teens only at night for Haunted Field of Screams. 104th Ave. and Riverdale Rd. A lot of ticket options, so check the website. Tuesday - Sunday, 10AM – 6:00PM. In general prices start at $8-$10 and kids under 5 get in FREE. Tuesdays are senior days, for $8.
  •  Fritzler Corn Maze in La Salle. Through October. Don't miss the 15-acre corn maze. mini roller coaster, train ride, pedal go-carts, pumpkin cannons, 3D maze, pumpkin patch. When the sun goes down, it becomes adult-only, with its Scream Acres. Check out website for tickets and packages, but overall prices range from $5 to $30. 20861 U.S. 85, 970-737-2129.
  • Pete Palombo's Roadside Market in Brighton. A 10 acre corn maze that is interactive and educational (Colorado agriculture and history) and a two acre haunted corn maze, no kids allowed, after dark.Through October. During the day a ton for kids, including a pumpkin patch, kiddie maze, petting zoo, pony rides, kernel corn box, jumping castle, and photo op stands. The petting zoo, pony rides, and the jumping castle are available Friday - Sunday. Market open daily from 9AM. - 6PM. Group discounts of 10% for 10 or more.   • Harvest Farm Fall Festival and Corn Maze in Wellington. Ten-acre corn maze, pumpkin blasters, pig races and more through Oct. 30. Open Fridays and Saturdays 10AM-9PM, Sundays 1-8PM. Tix are $15 for adults, $10 for kids (4 to 12) and seniors, and FREE for visitors under the age of 3.Entrance on East (Larimer) County Rd 66, 970-568-9488.
  • Mile High Farms in Bennett. Two corn mazes, a petting zoo, hayride, pumpkin patch, barrel carts, inflatables, a straw castle, straw maze, rope maze, face painting, and food. After the sun sets teens and adults can enjoy haunted hayrides and a haunted house. Open Friday and Saturday 10AM to midnight, Sunday to Thursday 10AM-11PM. Tix are $12 for adults, $10 for kids 4-12.   • Wild West Maze, Hudson. Five different corn mazes covering 35 acres, pumpkin patch and Giant Jumping Pillow. Open Fridays 5-10PM, Saturdays 10AM-10PMand Sundays 10AM-7PM. Tix are $12 for adults, $10 for kids 5-11 and FREE for kids under 4.
  •  Anderson Farms Fall Festival in Erie.Whopping 30-acre corn maze, Lots for kids to do-- farm animals to pet, hay bales to climb, pretend cows to milk, and a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. through Oct. 31. Open daily: Check online schedule for hours, updates re: weather, etc.. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids (4-12) and seniors, FREE for kidlets age 3 and under.
