Denver's "One Book One Denver" FREE Activities

Denver's One Book, One Denver program has picked Garth Stein's best selling "The Art of Racing in the Rain" as the city's new read.

The book, which is a NY Times bestseller (as well as a bestseller in Denver) was chosen in an online poll. ow published in 30 languages, The Art of Racing in the Rain was the #1 BookSense selection for June, 2008, the Starbucks spring/summer 2008 book selection, and has been on the IndieBound bestseller list since its publication.
 
The Denver Public Library is circulating 1,100 copies of The Art of Racing in the Rain through its system. Almost 500 of those copies have already been reserved by One Book, One Denver enthusiasts and you can reserve your copy here.

There are also a ton of FREE ancillary activities, including a teen writing contest, around Denver, all focused on celebrating The Art of Racing in the Rain and its beloved canine protagonist Enzo. If you are interested in participating check the events out here. Among them:
