Untitled #40 (Grounded) at Denver Art Museum Aug. 26

We love Untitled parties at DAM. Love it! Live music, theater, free food and a cash bar provide just enough fun. Tonight, Aug. 26 will focus on All Things Clay, so outside a raku kiln will fire up artists' creations and heat up visitors' own clay chef hors d'oeuvres. Inside, curators will talk on their soapboxes, schooling visitors in contemporary artists’ most extreme uses of clay. A geologist will lead a detour on the peculiar particulars of an artistic medium offered up by the earth and a smart phone scavenger hunt takes guests to the far reaches of the museum on a quest for clay. The end of the evening brings the premiere screening of a collective clay animation creation, projected on the soaring walls of the atrium for all Untitled visitors to see. Untitled events are included in regular museum admission; students presenting valid IDs receive 2-for-1 admission when tickets are purchased onsite. 100 W 14th Avenue Pkwy, Denver.
