Military Families Visit Museums FREE Through Sept. 5

Labor Day is upon us and so ends The National Endowment for the Arts Blue Star Museum promo, which offers FREE admission to museums for all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day - Labor Day.More than 1000 museums in all 50 states and the District of Columbia are participating, including children's museums, fine art museums, history and science museums. Local participating museum are: Aurora History Museum, Boulder History Museum, Denver Firefighters Museum, Dinosaur Ridge, Foothills Art Center, Golden History Museums, Lafayette Miner's Museum, Molly Brown House Museum, Museo de las Americas, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, Museum of Outdoor Arts, Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, The Butterfly Pavilion, Wheat Ridge Historical Park and Museum
Who is eligible for FREE museum admission through Blue Star Museums? Any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard), National Guard and Reserve members and up to five immediate family members.
