Tea! Mud! Open Bar! DAM's Jam June 24
On Friday June 24, this month's Untitled #38 (Tea Party) at the Denver Art Museum offers a dose of class as we learn about the finer side of clay. Celebrate the artists of the Marvelous Mud exhibitions by lifting your pinkies and drinking in the fineries, dainty doodads, and lovely ceramics. Check out the EIGHT!!! ah-ma-zing ceramic installations throughout the buildings. PLUS, we've got artist demonstrations, interactive spaces where you can DIY and a brand new iPhone app. Meet conservation specialists and ceramic artist, Christy Hengst. Watch the installation of a flock of blue, ceramic birds on the DAM plaza and stop by the Mud Studio to get your hands dirty. Untitled events are included in regular museum admission; students presenting valid IDs receive 2-for-1 admission when tickets are purchased onsite. Buntport Theater and live local bands (The Pirate Signal and Flashlights) will be on hand to top off this exceptionally artsy evening. Open bar. Yummy snacks. 100 W 14th Avenue Pkwy, Denver.
