Also, don't overlook the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Yes, they used to manufacture nerve gas and napalm at the arsenal, but it is cleaned up and chock full of amazing wildlife and is actually a National Wildlife Refuge. It's open to the public for FREE Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 7AM to 5PM. There are tram rides and wildlife programs. Phone 303-289-0930.
