FREE Movies in the Park
Denver’s 2011 Movies in the Park Series offers How to Train Your Dragon on July 2, at Skyline Park, 1701 Arapahoe St. This sponsored film series, held each Saturday at a different park around Denver, has something for everyone. Entering the series’ sixth year, Denver Parks and Recreation, along with partners and sponsors, are hosting 14 free movies in parks across the city. These G-, PG- and PG -13 rated films start at dusk (around 8:45PM in July and 8:30PM in August). In partnership with Outdoor Cinema Network, all movies will be shown in Blu-ray format on inflatable screens more than 24-feet wide and with a high-quality sound system.Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or low-seating lawn chairs.
