Speakers Series for Living in Denver's Older Homes

If you live in one of Denver's older homes, you get to enjoy a lot of ambiance, and unique challenges. Hah. That's the polite way of putting it (and I say that with love, as I cast an eye around my century-old dwelling). At any rate, you will not want to miss the 2011 Congress Park Neighbors’ Historic Speakers series. The FREE monthly talks focus on issues particular to "vintage" buildings and construction. Experts are on hand to field questions and dispense advice.

For example: Got an old house and stumped about how to landscape it? Check out Landscaping for Our Old House at 7PM, Wednesday May 25, at Nation Jewish Health's Heitler Hall. Colfax & Jackson. FREE. Series continues last Wednesdays of the month through September and covers everything from preserving old windows, care of mature trees and design guidelines for porches.  Call 303-377-4913 or check here.
