Through May 2 Lowes is having a 4 for $10 sale. Among the items on sale are Preen 2 cu ft mulch (red and brown) and 1 cu foot Miracle Gro garden soil. The regular prices on these products are about 50% more. This is an online deal but you can order online and pick them up at your local store. Apparently the deal is also available in-store, but with limited quantities available. Click here to order online. Als in-store, Lowes is offering petunias, marigolds and impatiens for 88 centavos and assorted veggies 5 for $10.
Home Depot has 2 cu ft mulch 3 for $10 and perennials 3 for $10. Cedar pickets for 77 cents, about half off. 1 cu foot Miracle Grow Garden Soil is $3.97. Veggies $1.68 for a four pack.
On Saturday April 30 get bags of topsoil and/or composted manure for 77 cents each at certain Ace Hardware stores. You can get the required coupons here. To find participating Ace Hardware store locations, click here. The Ace at Alameda Station (Broadway and Alameda) is participating.
If you buy veggies, remember that it is still too cold for them to be outside at night, even if the days are warm. Saturday and Sunday weather predictions here in Denver metro call for snow and below freezing temps.
