On Friday May 6 don't forget to take advantage of the First Friday Art Walk down on Sante Fe Drive, from 5th Ave. to 10th Ave. Did I mention it is FREE? I know parking blows and the galleries can be crowded, but the monthly event offers some of the best art and best people watching in Denver. Grab some great Mexican food at El Taco de Mexico (don't miss those smothered chicken burritos) or a cocktail at El Noa Noa and off you go. Enjoy more than 30 participating galleries and artist studios, plus the wonderful Museo de las Americas, which offers FREE admission. Usually there are a lot of gallery openings, artists receptions, snacks, inexpensive cocktails from 6-9:30PM. More info here.
